Kent left this earth Dec 8th, 2015 at Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville, Florida. A funeral service was held in Indianapolis on Dec 17, 2015.For his friends, family and team mates, we planned a Memorial Service in Jacksonville, Fl 

KENTON RAY BELL Age 50 Son of Mrs. Bobbie Jean Chestnut (Yates), step father Rev. John Paul Chestnut and the late Army Aviator MSG Everett M Bell (deceased, 2004).Kent was born at Fort Belvoir, VA on February 14, 1965.Surviving Kent are his mother Bobbie, brothers Victor G. Bell and wife (Mary) of Oaklandon, Indiana, Major Daniel A. Bell and wife (Sabrina) of Spring, Texas and sister Kimberly Rose Bell of Kingsland, GA.Graduated from Howe High School, Indianapolis, IN.  Attended The University of Kentucky, IUPUI and Ball State.He attended The University of North Florida as a Statistician (Scoreboard Extraordinaire)Kent was an author, Look Ma, No Hands, No Legs Either.  He was also a sports superfan. advocate and activist for independent living for those with disabilities.Profiled in national television and print media, including the Oprah Winfrey show, Kent was an active advocate for independent living for those with disabilities.His life story won an Emmy Award.  He was awarded the Florida Governor's award.Host of an internet radio program on Advocate 4 Success. Kent departed this life and entered into Heaven on December 8, 2015 in Jacksonville, FL, having waged an heroic lifelong defiance of seemingly insurmountable odds.He has 15 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles and dozens of cousins.
